Dog License:
Chateaugay residents are reminded that New York State requires all dogs to be licensed and current on rabies vaccinations. These licenses must be renewed yearly.
Fees are as follows:

Not spayed or neutered: $21

Spayed or neutered: $11*
*You must provide proof of spay or neuter at time of licensing to obtain discount. If you do not have proof you will be charged the higher amount.
Current rabies vaccination certificate must be shown to get license.
Licenses can be obtained and renewed at the Chateaugay Town Clerk office within the Town Hall. The hours are Monday-Friday 9-12:30 and Saturday 9-12. Please call 518-497-6931 ext.1 with any questions.
